If your doctor asked you to visualize your health, what would it look like?
Wellness is not something anyone can take for granted and this truth has been clearly illuminated in 2020! There are many contributing factors one needs to have in place in order to live dis-ease free.
The state of your mental, physical and social well-being can make a difference in your entire circle of life. It offers the full spectrum of wholeness to your purpose that must be honored, embraced, respected, integrated and fully experienced.
Discovering how to flow with this on-going process of unity within, begins with good choices you can take at every moment of each day. Healing your mind, body and spirit requires 360 degrees of awareness when applied with total focus, commitment and the discipline necessary to soar high.
Whatever your current state of health is, or isn't, wellness is an iterative or on-going process that encompasses not only the discipline of a good diet and exercise plan, but a deliberate listening from within. It is important to integrate your mind and spirit into your intelligent body.
... you are out of shape, not exercising, stressed out, and have had very poor eating habits. You know you haven't been paying attention to yourself for many, many years, and now as you are sitting in the Doctor's office, you hear them say, you have Cancer.
After reading that, you might have just had a chill go up your spine. I provided you a glimpse of this week's YOUNGER episode and part of my next speaker's real-life story. You will hear this unique interview as my guest's journey to health includes those exact words from his doctor, after just becoming a doctor himself.
Meet Dr. Diva Nagula, a doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. And yes, in 2014 he was diagnosed with Cancer. He shares his educational perspective of the disease from his medical background and his personal experience as a patient too.
Dr. Nagula is the author of a Wall Street Journal best-selling book called,
Dr. Nagula recognized his path to discover true health had a direct relationship with his connection to his own needs. Cancer didn't give him a choice to make another excuse or put off the imbalances he was absolutely feeling inside. He knew he couldn't ignore those 3 words, so he faced his health challenge straight on with success.
Dr. Nagula achieved that higher degree in medicine and ironically his greatest lesson was to listen to himself and to make those better choices about his health which he shifted to save his life.
To win this deadly battle, he seriously committed to his own self-care, achieving remission. We are grateful Dr. Nagula has used his experience to pave the road to optimal health for himself and to offer hope to all to learn, hear and read.
