As we continue to honor social distancing, I trust you are recognizing some of the unexpected gifts from this uncanny shift. As the world became smaller and quieter overnight, we all woke up to discover our own journey and how it is connected to the whole, as it is clear we are all in this together.
Maybe you recognize this is a time to slow down and you are asking yourself what is truly near and dear to your heart. While my friends are staying home they are growing gardens, reading books and one is learning a new language. My daughter spends her college study breaks painting, and I have joined her a few times.
So much fun to let the creative energies flow. My son breaks from his studying with exercise and creates electronic music. Oh yes, I have joined him as well. Incredibly expansive. I kind of like electronic music now.
How have you spend your time at home over the past few weeks?
All I know is that I have been passionately overseeing my patients health for almost 3 decades and out of the blue, something I could not control, a lock down, was announced in response to the Corona-Virus.
I guess you could say I felt betrayed, and my patients felt it too, they rely on our care. Everything we have offered to our community suddenly came to a quick stop.
The good news is our entire Santa Fe Soul Center looks better than ever as we continue into our 15th year. The trees expand with color as you enter our front doors. Simply gorgeous. As you walk inside you will see new uplifting colors in the treatment rooms, as the prayer wall continues to illuminate.
